These terms govern your subscription to Brightspace Connector ("the software"), sold by the operator of this site ("we," "us"). By subscribing, you agree to them.
A monthly subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to download and run the software's source code on your own computer or server, and to receive updates for as long as your subscription is active. See the license below for exactly what that does and doesn't permit.
It connects to your school's Brightspace/D2L account using your own login credentials, and to Anthropic's API using your own API key, entirely from infrastructure you control. We do not host, operate, or have access to your account, your credentials, your coursework, or your Brightspace data at any point. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Your subscription does not make you an owner of the code. You may run it for your own personal use and modify your own local copy. You may not redistribute it, resell it, sublicense it, host it as a service for others, or share your access credentials with anyone else. Each download is uniquely watermarked to your purchase — see LICENSE.txt included with the software for the full terms.
This software can generate draft text for assignments. Whether and how you may use AI-generated drafts in your coursework is governed entirely by your school's academic honesty policy, not by us. You are solely responsible for complying with it. We make no representation that using this software is permitted by any institution.
The software is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will work with every school's Brightspace configuration, that generated drafts will be accurate or suitable for submission, or that the service will be available without interruption. You use it at your own risk.
You can cancel anytime via the billing portal linked on your confirmation page. Canceling stops future charges and future updates; the copy of the software already on your machine keeps working. We don't offer partial-month refunds for cancellation — see the Refund Policy for the one exception.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
